We chose this hotel because of the advertised included airport shuttle. However, the airport shuttle requires reservations, was very busy and had no open spots for a reservation from the time it started going at 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM. The alternative which we were forced to take, a taxi, cost €52,50. They also didn't recognize our booking (through a 3rd party booking platform.) I have used this website (Agoda) at numberous other places without issue. The room itself was nice and breakfast had a solid number of options.
Waitress hammer and shouting at 23:30pm at the roomdoor and wants me to go down from 4th level as she can't put restaurant bill on the room!!!! Checked-in in the evening, at 10:00pm to the restaurant which is open till 11:00pm. Only one vegetarian first course dish, no vegetarian main course. Waitress explained me, that a risotto with sea fruit is vegetarian which also had a vegetarian sign on the menu card. No- this is pescetarian! Very small portion, the only vegetarian course, potato gnocchi with pesto. Then we wanted to pay, we waited minutes at the till, two waiters behind the bar were watching us, nobody came, so we thought they put it on the room invoice, to pay at the check-out. I went minutes later down to my car again, the waitress stopped me in the lobby and said loudly that I did not pay the bill and it is not possible to put it on the room number. Well, surely I did not expected that! Very misplaced service. A 4 star hotel and it is not possible to put a dinner on the room?
Absolutely the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. I’m writing this out of sheer frustration so that no one else has to go through what we did. The staff is not just unhelpful — they are outright rude and dismissive. From the moment we made our booking, it’s been a disaster. We’ve been chasing them for over a month regarding multiple booking errors and refund issues, and they simply do not care. Six wrong bookings were made and vouchered without our consent, and even after countless calls and emails, there's been zero accountability. What’s even more shocking is the way the staff talks to guests — no respect, no basic courtesy. At one point, they even hung up the call on us mid-conversation. It genuinely feels like they’re doing us a favor just by responding. This is not how hospitality works. The management is either non-existent or just doesn’t care. We’ve had to put other plans on hold just because this hotel can’t take responsibility for its own mess. Save yourself the stress, time, and money — avoid this hotel at all costs.
