Zeus Hotels Neptuno Beach

Pros - Excellent location right on the beach, only 15 mins by bus into centre and shops opposite direction 10 min walk. No problem getting lounger either at the pool or beach. Food was excellent in the restaurant, drink choice was good served with fresh fruit, served in proper glasses at night. Whole hotel spotless and the staff work non stop to keep it this way. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cons- Our hotel room was old fashioned overlooking run down roof tops, 2 nights in a row the shower didn't work and water runs cold due to demand. There is only 2 pool toilets which weren't too busy but these were the only toilets for use outwith room day/night. Snacks between meals very poor, mostly dried up and appeared to be left overs from previous meal. Entertainment at night was pitiful(not sure if hotel pays for entertainment in season) but we opted to go out most nights. Only bar is outdoors which wasn't ideal when it was a bit colder in the evening. Overall the location food drink and service is great but I would suggest more of a 3 star.

From a Cornish/British point of view, The staff are really friendly and nice the hotel is clean all round. 1 outside bar and one small pool. The location is good. Breakfast and lunch is very standard for a all-inclusive and the all-inclusive drinks all standard. The only problem is the evening meal is a bit dull and repetitive. On the good side there's lots of restaurants in the area and the city center is 15 minutes bus ride away. The hotel seems well catered for Germans that seems to be the majority. The local beach behind the hotel is all good and fine. I would only saying avoid coming very early season has April to mid may if the weather turns bad and rains it gets very boring because there's no inside bar.

The rooms are very outdated, old furniture, the third bed is terrible, you can't sleep on it, the food was ok, the service was again ok. The beach is small, the pool is again very small, only one bar that serves you after 11 pm for a fee. The activities were only for Germans, the same activities every day and 80% in German, the music in German. Plus, the clock in my room disappeared (the room located on the 1st floor). I don't recommend it!!
