Zhonggong Plaza

The Zhonggong Plaza Hotel in Beijing is a four star budget hotel with a buffet restaurant on the first floor, convention center to held meetings and seminars. The buffet restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I recommend you always ask for the hours in where is serving, in that way you can plan ahead of time. The Zhonggong Plaza Hotel is located two blocks from the Baishiqiao Subway Station, that is line No. 9, and it serve as transfer to line No. 6. The location is quite far from the modern Beijing but is not a drawback considering it has a supermarket a few steps from the building next to the hotel, you can choose either go to a food stalls or eat at a restaurant that is next door. Plus you have nearby beauty parlors, banks, mobile operators stores, etc. From the Zhonggong Plaza Hotel to the south I found you can walk and visit the China Central Television Tower and next to it is the Yuyuantan Park which has a pond and is quite an scenery for photo shoots. And to the north you found the Beijing Zoo and Beijing Aquarium. And to the east, near Baishiqiao South Subway Station you will find restaurants, a convenient store like Watsons, and coffee stores like Starbucks.

I’ve stayed here back in 2017, they didn’t provided mini fridge in the room, I had to improvise and buy me a cooler to keep my drinks cold, but then again they didn’t wanted to provide me ice and I don’t know why, I had to seek assistance from my Chinese friends for this matter. But overall it was a nice experience, but I won’t stay there again if I will go to Peking, I didn’t like the area!
