Zollamt Design Hotel

So this has to be a hidden gem. Near a grocery store eay walking 20 min to old town Kaiserslautern. Worth every penny. The owners and team are amazing, friendly and deeply caring about every guest. The breakfast although a add on is worth it. Tea, coffee, and water free all day. Rooms as you know if you have traveled in Europe are smaller, but clean and big enough for what you need. Daily housekeeping and in general very clean any time of day. Definitely encourage this place to any and everyone. Area is safe and quiet. Gil

Went here for a work-related trip, and can highly recommend it! The owners are super friendly and the room was pretty, clean and quiet. I slept very well, because there were window shades. Besides there is air conditioning and a lovely garden for breakfast, which was very good! Enjoyed my time there very much!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Zollamt. The service was superb and the staff was very welcoming and professional. The room and common areas of the hotel were very clean. It is clear that the management are very proud of the establishment and ensuring that the guests receive a high-quality experience. The location is very well situated in Kaiserslautern. It is a short distance to restaurants and grocery stores. The city-center is only 15 minutes away and a very pleasant walk. The hotel has a number of parking spots reserved for guests. I was very pleased that I was able to park there each day. I feel very fortunate that I spent my week here while visiting the area.
