1. The grounds are clean, but the umbrellas and loungers need replacement as they give the hotel a cheap appearance. The rooms are clean and modern. 2. The food. Breakfasts are monotonous and lack greens. There are too many sweets for breakfast, which is unhealthy. Only dinner is tasty, with a lot of seafood: fish, shrimp, squid, octopus. There is no kids’ menu; nuggets and sweets are not children’s food. The coffee is instant, which is not appropriate for a 4-star hotel. 3. They don’t maintain the cleanliness of the pools; by noon, the pool is already full of sand. 4. The dining area looks very old and needs new tables. 5. Everything is catered to French tourists. The staff speaks French, and the entertainment is in French. 6. There is an adults-only pool, which is a plus. 7. The sea is close to the hotel, but there are no loungers by the sea. The nearest beach is a 15-minute walk and is paid.
Beautifully located hotel in the calm area surrounded by sea and mountains. Convenient connection to Kos city - bus stop is just in front of the hotel. Walking distance ~15 minutes to nice Tigaki town which becomes lively in the evening. Close proximity to the beach, it is not a nice one though - just a narrow field of sand with sea access. The staff was very kind to let us start using all facilities and services upon showing up at the hotel even though we arrived early in the morning and several hours before the check-in hours. The same was the case for the departure which happened for us in the evening, several hours after check-out hours. The staff was very nice and the cleaning service was thorough. Animations were in french, and the hotel is generally french-oriented, which was a small inconvenience for us because we don't speak french, but we can't complain as we were pre-warned about it. Swimming pools were great, we specifically enjoyed the one for adults, where we could enjoy peace, quiet and nice views without all the kid-noise. The variety of food was very huge, everyone will find something they like. However, the wine was absolutely awful. We tried white, red and rose, and all three smelled and tasted like nail polish remover. That was a huge disappointment. The room was convenient, the view which we had was magnificent, but there were unpleasant smells coming from drain gate located in the bathroom, and air-conditioning was way too loud even in silent mode, which made falling asleep a bit too difficult. Internet was failing frequently, even in the lobby, where it was supposed to be working all the time. Overall, our stay was really enjoyable, and all the pros overcome a few cons.
Everything is okay — the room is cleaned every day or every other day. We got a room with a nice sea view. It’s quite modern, and the food is good and varied. The restaurant manager seems like a tyrant who yells at his staff. During our stay, I saw him kick a small cat straight in the head, and later he was smiling while greeting guests. The hotel is geared towards French tourists — when you start speaking English, the staff gives you strange looks and you feel unwelcome. To sum up: everything is fine, though it’s a bit far from the town and the nicer beaches. If you’re planning to spend your whole stay at the hotel, I can recommend it, as there are plenty of activities available
