This is the kind of Marriott property that renews my hope and appreciate for the brand overall. The breakfast was great, the room was super comfortable, and the staff were awesome (especially the evening bar manager and his staff!). It definitely felt like a 5 star hotel. If they are renovating, I was in a newer room. I did have to wait on the elevator once or twice in the morning, but overall it was a great place to stay for the first time visiting Zurich.
The hotel is not cheap but is very nice and in a great location, especially in summer. I enjoyed a daily swim in the river like so many people seemed to do. The staff were nice and my room had a great city view. We paid extra to get club access which saved us money as we got a nice breakfast and nice evening food that served as a dinner.
Great hotel stay here with family of 3. The hotel was clean, nice, and the staff friendly and helpful. The lounge included excellent food and beverage options and the two restaurants in the hotel were also good. It’s a bit further away from the lake and Old Town, but is close to a tram station and very close to the main train station as well, so everything was still easy to access. Had a lovely stay here and would come back.
