This place was such a pleasant stay. The employees were super helpful and friendly. They really made our trip a breeze. The location of the hotel is perfect too since you're at the center of town. The employees even helped us schedule a taxi (who spoke English) to take us to Monte Alban. Yes the rooms are older but they have charm and they are kept extremely clean. You can hear a little street noise but that's to be expected since you're at the center of town with bars and restaurants around.

Very comfortable hotel. Excellent rooms, great service from the hospitality staff, who recommended a half day tour of Monte Alban that was my favorite tour so far in Mexico. Highly recommend if you wish to spend a few very nights at a hotel in Oaxaca. If you have the money to spend, pick the Palacio!

I had an overall positive experience with the hotel. However, I did have one minor issue with the breakfast service. Although the hotel does offer breakfast, it only includes bread, juice, coffee, fruits , or hot chocolate. If you desire a more substantial breakfast with eggs or other items, you have to order them separately, which I found inconvenient. Despite this, I must acknowledge the excellent service provided by the staff. While their attentiveness can sometimes be a bit overwhelming, it is also quite welcoming. The hotel rooms are well-appointed, and I especially enjoyed spending time on the rooftop.
