Šumava Inn

Nice hotel with good service and very friendly service. Only a few meters away from a small ski area and several kilometres of maintained cross-country trails. Good restaurant, too. Perfect for sports enthusiasts and families!

I was there with three friends for one night and we enjoyed it! The rooms are fine....this is not a luxury hotel but neither are the prices. Everything was very clean, beds comfortable, quiet for sleeping and everything was in working order. There is an elevator and free parking. The lowest floor is all restaurant and the food is delicious. We had dinner and breakfast. The second floor where the front desk is has a couple of rooms where you can sit and socialize or play games. The people are friendly and we would definitely stay there again.

I have had a great experience since the first moment. Even though I booked a reservation at the last minute, the madame at the online reception was very helpful, she navigated me through the whole process and helped me use my Benefit Plus points as a payment. After we arrived, we had a warm welcome, the waiter in the hotel restaurant immediately offered us a beer and we got in our room a few minutes after the arrival with no problems. I especially send big thanks to the gentleman, who took care of us the whole time and served us the food. The portions are big and they offer traditional Czech dishes, I felt like I was at my grandmother's house. Also the breakfast was amazing - there is a huge variety of savoury/sweet food, even a wine! The restaurant toilets offer disinfection and toiletry and hygienic stuff. I just loved the extra details. Additionally, we booked a whirlpool, where we could enjoy a private relaxing time surrounded by candles and roses. We didn´t even ask for special care and we got it automatically, which we really appreciate. I also appreciate the kindness of the staff - I left my charger at home and the bartender offered me to use his one. The room was spacy, we would appreciate the functional heating so that we could dry out soaked clothes (it was raining), but otherwise the stay was a magical experience for us. We will definitely come back to this hotel when we arrive next time! Unforgettable nice people!
