The property is beautifully landscaped, with cottages and villas spread across the hillside, each offering panoramic views of the lake and Western Ghats. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the private balcony with such a stunning backdrop is a memory I’ll cherish. The resort has an impressive range of activities — from a well-maintained infinity pool, nature trails, and boating to pottery sessions, archery, and a cozy bonfire area. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, and the personal attention from the General Manager and team really makes a difference. The rooms are spacious, tastefully done, and spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable, and the in-room amenities are well thought out. The resort maintains high standards of hygiene and service across the board. The food was a highlight — freshly prepared, with a good mix of local Kerala flavors and continental options. The buffet spread could be more extensive during weekdays, but the taste and quality were consistent throughout. The only minor challenge is the access road — it’s narrow and a bit tricky to drive, especially at night. But once you arrive, the beauty and serenity of the place more than make up for it. We stayed at the Arayal Resort in July as a couple and have had a wonderful experience. The rooms are large and cozy. The view from the rooms is excellent. The staff is helpful and friendly. The entertainment program on one evening with karaoke singers was really entertaining. Overall, a wonderful experience. A special shout out for Mr. Sanjeevan, their GM, who went out of his way to ensure that we have a wonderful time.

The food was exceptional—delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully curated to suit every palate. We especially appreciated the attention given to our preferences and the personal touches added to each meal.
