The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, note that the hotel has a private beach section with a cost of €40 for the day, or you can stay on the grass section of the hotel for free and you have dedicated loungers for each room. There is also public beach which is free. The restaurant offers really nice lunch and dinner options, unfortunately breakfast is rather average. The service from all the staff is exceptional! I would recommend enquiring about the various room options as this makes a big difference, some have direct garden access where others are located on the first floor with great sea views and then you have the main hotel rooms which are away from the beach but close to the pool.
This hotel is run-down, uninspired, and absolutely not worth €280/night which we paid. Granted, the location near the beach looks stunning at first glance, everything else falls short. I honestly do not feel comfortable paying this much for a 130€/night experience. The room was outdated and bare, with white tiles, rusty fixtures, poor lighting, thin curtains that don’t close properly, and a weak air conditioner. The TV is tiny, not smart, and awkwardly far from the bed. There is a kettle with instant coffee, but that’s about it, no touch of comfort or luxury. Our room looked out on a shared garden with a hot tub just 3 meters away, zero privacy, unless you kept the curtains shut all day. The pool is small and the noise of vacuuming around it ruins any relaxation. Worse: breakfast isn’t included, and you’re asked to pay extra for sun loungers on their so-called “private beach”. Even some restaurant staff act like they’re doing you a favor. This place might be acceptable at €120–140 per night, but not at double that price. It seriously lacks quality, maintenance, and hospitality. Sardinia is amazing, just stay somewhere else.
We left quite disappointed. After paying 280euro a night in a rundown, not well kept hotel where not even breakfast is included. The Spa (which is laughable) also needs to be paid separately. The jacuzzi was cold and water was dirty, sand and debris could be seen on the bottom. The sauna didn’t even work. Massages were quite pleasant and the masses did her job very well, but unfortunately not everything was available. We wanted to enjoy couples massages/retreat that they offer on their list, but because they were short of staff it wasn’t possible. So each of us had to wait one hour for the others person massage to finish so to have their own.. our romantic gateway wasn’t so romantic after all. They should not advertise services they can not in fact offer.
