Itria Palace

Beautifully located hotel with lovely rooms in Ragusa. Fantastic to see how an old palace was turned into gorgeous hotel with many of the original elements being restored and made centre of the space. The rooms are very comfortable, well furnished and quiet. The price very good for the quality received.

Super helpful staff! Both late check in and leaving the luggage there after check out was no problem. The breakfast buffet was great. Parking was easy and there were a lot of free parking spots nearby. The only problem we had was that the air conditioning didn’t work properly because it was placed underneath the window instead of above, which made the room very hot. It also seemed like the floor was heated which is strange in July.

Great location, convenient free public parking - entrance/exit from the breakfast room, there's an elevator up. We got two rooms,one standard in the new building, one upgraded in the main building. The one in the new building was great, spacious fresh with good views. However, the second room did not look like the promised upgrade, it was run down, old, half the things weren't working (broken safe soap dispenser, TV) and there was no balcony. The staff said there was nothing else available but we also weren't reimbursed for not getting the upgrade we paid for. The breakfast was also underwhelming. Fresh eggs were brought out but seems like they were straight out of the fridge, ice cold and rubbery. Fruit was good.
