Margherita White Terrace San Giovanni Near FAO

We spent 3 nights at Hotel San Giovanni Roma and truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood but still offers easy access to the center of Rome via public transportation. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. One of the highlights was the wonderful breakfast each morning—fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and helpful, always ready with a smile and great local advice. A relaxing and convenient base for exploring the Eternal City. Highly recommended!

Could not have been happier with this hotel! Everything was really clean, breakfast was perfect, the employees were so pleasent and nice and the location is in such a beautiful neighbourhood. Also there are a lot of buses nearby. We had a great experience! Would recommend.

​This hotel offers a mix of positive and negative experiences. The highlight of our stay was the fantastic breakfast and the incredibly friendly staff who served us. The hotel's location is also excellent, with easy access to public transportation and local shops. ​However, the quality of the room was disappointing. It felt more like a two- or three-star experience. The room was small for two adults, with worn mattresses and very little storage. We also found that the provided iron and kettle were in poor, unsanitary condition. The iron's cord was dangerously damaged and held together with tape. ​While the breakfast service nearly made up for these issues, our check-out experience was frustrating. We were ignored for 45 minutes while waiting for a coffee at the reception. This soured our final impression and made it feel like the hospitality ended once we were no longer paying guests. Because of the room issues and the disappointing end to our stay, I would not choose to return.
