Il Vecchio Frantoio

I have no words to describe how amazing our experience was! The host welcomed us warmly and prepared an amazing dinner even though we were the only clients in the hotel and the cook was away. Very authentic experience. The location is superb. I highly recommend the hike in the mountain above the property.

Lovely authentic accommodation on the edge of Madonie. What views to wake to. It was exactly what we needed for our trip (3days on bikes across the island) but ultimately pretty simple offering. Bedrooms are comfortable if a little basic. So too food and wine. But all in all a great time was had here and I’d happily recommend.

By far one of the nicest, most friendly stays we had in all of Sicily. The couple running the hotel was always available for help or a good tip, the facility is very clean and the rooms are made every day. The dinner was outstanding, the portions are huge and all of it was tasty! The cook is a great guy! We can highly recommend staying here, take some time to hike in the national park and enjoy Il Vecchio! Thank you for a wonderful time!
