Tokyu Stay Fukuoka Tenjin

Great location not far from the Hakata station and the underground Tenjin shopping mall. The room has a microwave oven and a washer-dryer combo which is very convenient (albeit small capacity). They also provide toiletries and the Georgia coffee in the lobby tastes good too. Friendly staff check you in at the front desk. The price is also very reasonable for the amenities we got. We really enjoyed our stay!

The service was good, room service is great. The hotel is in the middle of everything. Close to the station, close to stores, close to the river, good restaurants. A good place to stay for a few days. The best part is the rooms come with their own washer/dryer machine.

Good location, near most things in Fukuoka and the room is fully kitted out with all kinds of amenities that you may or may not need, with additional ones available on request. Sadly the bed wasn't great, but at least the room was quite big for Japan, which means you will be able to stay here as a couple carrying a suitcase each, unlike some hotels in Japan. The little kitchen sink is handy for when you buy something to eat to take back to the room and there's even an electrical kettle, an induction cook top, a microwave and a washing machine in case you'd need it. The seating by the windows was unfortunately quite uncomfortable as well, but there were at least some seating. Overall a pretty good hotel for Japan.
