Welcoming hotel close enough to the city attractions. Have a good selection of food for the breakfast buffet and serve it starting really early in the morning (even 4:30am)… good for day trips starting early. Rooms are nice and clean, reasonably spacious and personnel is very attentive. Fitness room is a bit crowded by the equipment. Service at the restaurant can be a bit inconsistent, with forgotten orders or serving times for orders of guests at the same table… some will finish their meal before others are even served.

20 min drive from the airport, located in walking distance to the older shopping mall. For night market or other destinations one has to go by taxi (Grab, Maxime). Rooms are decorated in the usual HI style, bathroom is a bit more spacious than many others in Asia. Clever layout for shower door which can also close up the entire bathroom, great idea! Breakfast is always crowded, no matter what time one appears. The hotel is always busy, so there’s no ideal breakfast time (maybe at 06:30?). Some western food options are available at the buffet. The Signal Hill coffee shop / bar is a great place to hang out with a chilled beer. Big screen TV displays European soccer matches all the time…. IHG members will get a free snack here in the evening from 17:30
