Verdi St Georges Bay Marina

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. My daughter and I had a very pleasant stay here, and we are very grateful to the hotel and its staff for their hospitality. Yes, there is currently a lot of construction work going on nearby, but as we were up and out exploring or doing an activity during the day, the noise had absolutely no impact on our stay whatsoever. In the evening, we could hear the music of nearby establishments if we were on our balcony, and this provided us with some lovely music as we enjoyed the view, but once inside our room, with the door closed, we were not bothered by noise at all, and enjoyed a peaceful nights sleep throughout the entirety of our stay. The pool area was lovely, although closed a little early for us (7pm). We would have liked to enjoy the pool after our days out a little more than was possible. However, it was very lovely to be provided with pool towels as well as the regular bathroom towels. I felt this was a nice touch that I would love to see in other hotels, especially as luggage costs are insane, and travelling as light as possible is increasingly necessary. We dined in the Don Royale restaurant, which I highly recommend. The food was always delicious, the service was exceptional, and they always accommodated us despite our persistent failure to make a reservation. I definitely recommend this hotel, and I will be returning in the near future ❤️

Super hotel in a great location but the stand out feature is the staff. So friendly and welcoming they are a credit to the hotel. We found the guest relations manager Amit so helpful in steering us to the best places to visit and he is very knowledgeable of the area. Jana our waitress was fantastic and my wife looked forward to seeing her every morning and chatting to her. The rooms are cleaned daily to perfection. In summary a great hotel all round.

A hotel for those who love bacon, construction noise, and endless patience We arrived with high expectations – and yes, it was memorable. Every morning we woke to the irresistible aroma of fried bacon, seeping through walls, windows, and into our very souls. For those who dream of an intense breakfast experience starting at 6:00 AM, this is paradise. And if you’re into sound: enjoy front-row seats to a construction site, complete with drilling at dawn. No need to set an alarm – the hotel has that covered. The staff are incredibly friendly. Truly, genuinely polite. They promise to help with a smile – and then do absolutely nothing. A masterclass in empty gestures. There was also a certain charm in not having any water in our building for parts of the stay. Washing with bottles and brushing teeth with creativity adds a rustic twist that some may find delightful. Bonus features: • Balcony doors wouldn’t close properly – perfect if you want to let in noise, insects, or just feel a bit closer to the construction site. • Soundproofing appears to be on vacation, so you’re sure to feel included in every hotel happening, day or night. All in all: Highly recommended for those looking to practice mindfulness, patience, and the art of smiling through it all.
