We stayed at the Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel for three nights and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable—with some of the best beds we’ve ever had in a hotel. The amenities were top-notch, especially the fitness center, which is the largest I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The red light sauna was an unexpected bonus and added to the wellness experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. And the location couldn’t be better—right on Reforma and walking distance to incredible spots like Chapultepec Park and Chapultepec Castle. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers!
Unfortunately, my experience at the Sheraton Mexico City Maria Isabel Hotel was very disappointing ‼️❕‼️it was the worst night of my stay in Mexico. Like many, I’ve always thought of Sheraton as a top-tier name in hospitality. I expected a certain level of quality and service. Sheraton is well known for hosting weddings, events, and being a symbol of elegance ❕and that reputation is what convinced me to book 🤦🏼 However, as a regular guest just looking for a clean, comfortable, and professional experience, I was very let down. From the moment I arrived, the reception service was poor. The staff lacked warmth and professionalism. When I reached the room, things got worse ❌ it felt outdated, worn down, and not well maintained. The standard of cleanliness and comfort did not match what you would expect from a Sheraton-branded hotel. It carries a great name, but sadly, the reality did not live up to it. 🚫I do not recommend this hotel for regular travelers looking for comfort and value.🚫 ✅My advice 👍: If you’re considering staying here, take a look at Hotel PF instead. It offers a similar level of room and service quality , but at a better price, with safer surroundings and much more respectful staff.👍
The Sheraton Mexico City is very basic for a supposed 5-star hotel. Bathroom amenities were limited to shower products only — no extras. There were no glasses, robes, slippers or kettle, just a coffee machine and paid snacks. Had to move rooms due to a broken wardrobe and picture falling off the wall. Very dated. The worst part, however, was discovering they had taken $795 AUD more than they should from my card as a “hold” without my agreement, allegedly to cover extra expenses. There will be no extra expenses — we won’t be spending anything here after how this was handled. When I raised the issue, the staff member was rude and condescending instead of helpful. I would not recommend staying here. Poor service, poor amenities, and questionable billing practices.
