El Dorado Casitas Royale All & More Inclusive Adults Only

El Dorado Casitas is beautiful, rooms are very nice and clean, nice pools all around. The restaurants are great. We enjoyed the food, drink, and service. It's a seaweed season, so we didn't enjoy the beach time much at the resort. However, we had a nice beach time and catamaran & snorkeling activity included in the More inclusive that the resort provided. Another activity the resort provided was Bonanza ranch was really fun too. The personal concierge was nice for helping out planning the trip. The only hick-up for us was our personal planner was not there when we checked in at 3pm, so we couldn't get in to the activities we planned for. We only stayed for 3 nights and wish we should have stayed longer.

It was s great experience! Leticia made the stay even more enjoyable with her recommendations and help booking dinners etc.. if there was one thing I would say needed more attention. Was the cleanliness of the swim up pool. Because we didnt have access to the beach the pools should have been kept cleaner.. other then that everything was great.

The resort is nice. My husband and I stayed in the Casitas. We were disappointed in the beach. We were unaware that it was seaweed season so we were unable to go into the water the entire trip. The food was good in all of the restaurants. We had a disappointing experience with the Italian restaurant. We made a mistake with our reservation by going a day early. We were told by the hostess that it was fine she would work us in. Approximately 15 minutes later we were greeted by a gentleman who told us the only way we could eat at the restaurant was to pay $25 each or each guest buy a $25 bottle of wine. Needless to say we thought this was ridiculous because we were supposed to be in an all inclusive resort. We were pressured and made to feel like we were being scammed. It ruined our experience and we left. My other complaint is that the pools close at 6PM. We were in the adults only casitas. We also requested a bottle of wine in our room. We were told that could not be done. There again, we were at an all inclusive resort. We had to pay $27 for a bottle of wine for our room. The toilet in our casita did not work properly. It had to be flushed several times for it to work. Honestly, no I would not return here. Although the people were very very kind and attentive and policies at this resort were disappointing especially for the amount of money that was spent. I stay somewhere else if I ever return to the area.
