Hotel Sanmara

This place is absolutely magical. From the rooftop pool next to the bar, (while sipping best margaritas in Chacahua made by Joaquin) + while watching the sunset, to the hammocks on the beach that offered perfect shade in the afternoon (and the best naps) — every detail made our stay unforgettable. The beach was just a short 10-minute walk away, with awesome surf options. And after a long, hot day, the air-conditioned rooms were a real saviour, providing a proper sleep we needed in the heat. However, what truly made this experience outstanding was the incredible hospitality. Christina took such great care of us and the kindness of the entire staff was just amazing. We also had the chance to explore the bioluminescent waters and go fishing, both of which were magical experiences. It’s hard to imagine our time here without the warmth and generosity of Christina and Joaquin. We’re already dreaming of returning to this beautiful, welcoming place!

Sanmara is an oasis of peace and tranquility. It has the most cool roof top terace with a pool that rewards you with a sea, beach and greenery views. This is where we also had delicious meals and drinks, uff.. it was really hard to drag ourselves away! The whole place is thoughtfully decorated, it gives your mind a break you did not know you needed. The staff's service was exceptional, they really add up to the hotel's inviting atmosphere. Honestly, everything was perfect. I want to stay here again and again!

Christina and her team have created something special here. Everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. Rooms are well air conditioned with great views. The team make great coffees and cocktails too! Thank you for a great stay :)
