Van der Valk Hotel Breda

Great hotel, perfect for a work trip. The room are affordable, and the service is truly 4-star. Everything is clean, functions well, and is calm and silent. For example, in the room, there's a mini bar, but you don't here the fridge running because it's well insulated. The shower works perfectly and is at the right temperature rapidly. There was an ironing board and an iron already in the room. Lastly, the bed was undeniably recent and very comfortable. I appreciated a lot arriving by car (a rental EV, Polestar), and finding parking space with accessible charging stations. How convenient! The gym is nice, and even though I would have appreciate to have more weights and a pull-up bar, the cable gym (Technogym) was working beautifully. I still need to try the pool, which I will do tonight. I extended my stay in the morning, and the staff was kind enough to shuffle other reservations to allow me to stay in the same room. Finally, the restaurant was a very nice surprise. Quite expensive for the dinner, but tasty and well made. I recommend the sweet potato fries with the marinated beef and kimchi. The breakfast was very good: right selection of dairy, eggs, proteins, cereal. Just add more fruits to make it perfect.

The restaurant section is modern and especially the open buffet breakfast is very rich. The staff is very polite. Location is perfect, close to the highway. I feel like I will visit more from now on...

We chose this hotel primarily for its convenient location right off the highway, as we needed easy mobility. From the outside, it looks like just another typical highway hotel. However, once inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the high quality and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. It offers excellent value for money in a surprisingly cozy setting.
