Pudi Boutique Hotel Fuxing Park Shanghai

Good value hotel located in the french quarter. Its a quiet location next to Fu Xing Park. Apart from a few bars and local eateries there's not much happening after 10pm. You would need to head to Xin Tian Di for nightlife, approx 10-12mins walk away. What would make this a great place to stay is an in-house restaurant. Hotel staff are courteous & friendly. We had a large room on the fourth floor overlooking the main road. The bed is comfy and of emperor proportions. Bathroom again large was well appointed, but missing a power shower. As with most boutique hotels there are plenty of downlights (to create moody atmosphere) but wattage was a bit lacking! Hotel looking a bit tired in places now and can do with a makeover. This should extend to replacing the TV and boosting the signal to enhance the audio visual experience. There is free wifi in the room but bandwith so small its rendered useless.

Fantastic location, close to Xintiandi, though a noisy night club music late at night on the weekend. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable with an interesting artistic decor, on the dark side which is part of the set up you may like this or not. It’s a small hotel no bar and limited dining but plenty of places to go close by. Would definitely stay here again

Really nice, centrally located hotel in Shanghai that still manages to avoid most of the hustle and bustle of being in the Bund. Close to a lot of shopping, nice eateries, and very cosy bars it is hard to go wrong if you go here for relaxation in Shanghai. Facilities at the hotel are somewhat limited, but this is made up for by very good prices and great value for money. My room was amazing!
