Filipina taff is frendly and takes care of your staying. I recommend this place!
Polite helpful staff, nice clean room and your own shower for a lower cost than beach front places. Place had a few power problems for twenty minutes or so. Do not get room 1 or the one across as the balcony next to these rooms can have your fellow loud guests or staff moving chairs and cleaning at 645am. There is only a window and curtains to block the sound. With all places around here I assume you will encouter barking dogs and crowing chickens during your sleep hours it is seems an island with no dog rules and chickens are needed for fat tourists' fried eggs. So I doubt you will be sheltered from these sounds in other island stay choices. Great fresh baked donuts made for 30pesos.
This accommodation offers a good location on the island, conveniently close to basic necessities and situated right by the national road, making it easy to get around. The rooms are quite spacious, providing ample room to relax after a day of exploring. Best of all, the price is on the budget, making it a great option for travelers looking for an affordable stay. However, while the rooms themselves are spacious, the toilet and shower rooms on the third floor are quite small and lack proper ventilation. Only one toilet has an exhaust fan, and even then, the space feels barely big enough for just the toilet bowl, leaving little room for the person using it. The owner is truly exceptional — incredibly kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. However, the experience was unfortunately dampened by the other staff. While the owner was warm and welcoming, the rest of the staff seemed to give us the cold shoulder. Even when they could clearly see us struggling with simple tasks, like preparing dinner, they offered no assistance. We had to specifically ask for every basic necessity, including tables, chairs, and plates. It would have made a significant difference if the staff had been more proactive and helpful, especially when guests are visibly in need of assistance. Overall, if you're looking for a spacious and budget-friendly place with a fantastic owner, this could be a good fit. Just be prepared for cramped third-floor bathrooms and to be very direct when asking for anything you might need from the other staff.
