Nice hotel. 15 minute walk from the old town, 8 minutes away from the river and 25 minutes from the Schindler factory. Nice room and facilities with tea, coffee and kettle in situ plus a stocked mini bar if you want to pay for it. Also 2 complimentary bottles of water given each day if you drink them. Restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Very happy we got to stay here. Recommended.

We had a superior room 536. Spacious, nice lighting, powerful shower, small balcony, bottled water replenished each day, complimentary late check out. We were by the stairwell and housekeeping room so from 8.30am there was some noise while house cleaning were working. It also happened to be the only area where there was no carpet so the rolling etc woke us a few times. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again. I’d just ask for a room further along the corridor. Also, Venezia massage directly next door was fantastic and definitly worth a visit at very reasonable prices.

Avoid this hotel : not worth the 4 stars. One of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve ever had in what claims to be a 4-star hotel. I asked the staff if they could simply warm up a meal, a basic service I’ve had everywhere else in the world and they flat-out refused. No microwave access for guests, not even as a courtesy. What if a mother needed to warm a baby bottle? Absolutely unacceptable. My room had a depressing view of a grey concrete wall, and the curtains barely blocked out the light. To make things worse, there’s a bright LED in the bathroom that stays on all night, and the gap under the door lets the light bleed into the room. It’s a design flaw that makes no sense and ruins sleep quality. Then there’s the minibar: it’s locked, and you only get the key if you leave a deposit. If you don’t, you can’t even use the fridge for your own things. I’ve never seen that in any other hotel, let alone a 4-star one. They sell the location and the building, but the service and overall guest experience are far below international standards. This was my first and last stay here. Review also coming to Booking.
