Al Mansour Plaza Hotel Doha

It was actually my first time at the hotel, and I really enjoyed my stay. The front office staff in the morning especially the African lady was very welcoming. I loved her attitude towards guests; she was patient and answered every question thoroughly. The outdoor pool was also a highlight very clean and well-maintained, which I truly appreciated. However, the housekeeping team could improve their work. I also suggest providing name tags for the staff, as it would be really helpful. Overall, everything else was okay.

Extremely Disappointing and Scam-like Experience I booked Al Mansour Plaza Hotel through Booking.com (Booking No: 6783838824) and received a confirmed reservation. However, upon arrival, the hotel staff informed me there was no room available and tried to offer me another room at a much higher price. This happened late at night, leaving me with no choice, as finding another hotel without advance booking at that hour was nearly impossible. This feels like a clear scam—confirming bookings to lure customers in, then charging more when they arrive. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never book this hotel again and strongly advise others to avoid it.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. On the very first day after my arrival, the bathroom sink fell on my foot — just because I pressed the drain stopper. The sink was clearly not installed properly and the entire structure collapsed. As a result, my toe was nearly severed and ended up broken. I had to spend my entire vacation in a wheelchair, in severe pain and unable to enjoy anything I had planned. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to offer any compensation whatsoever. Instead, they told me they now have to pay for a new sink because of me – as if it was my fault their facilities were unsafe. This is completely unacceptable. Not only did they ruin my holiday, but they showed zero responsibility or empathy. Avoid this place unless you want your trip to turn into a nightmare.
