Hotel Capitol

I stayed here recently with a friend, in a twin room for 4 nights. I cannot fault the hotel or it's staff. The location is excellent and breakfast is decent. We had an issue with our air conditioning and it was sorted very promptly. Out travel agent had also made a bit of a mess of our booking; the hotel sorted it very quickly for us. The staff made our stay stress free. There is a night club nearby but we didn't hear a thing. Beds were comfortable also, and our shower had great water pressure. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Capitol was very nice and we received what we booked it for. The room was clean and cosy, with only a few worn-off details and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was polite and helpful. Its location is ideal: it is within walking distance of all important sites and has easy access to the metro and buses. This very location, however, might be the cause of some inconvenience to some. You can always hear the hum of traffic, as two main city arteries pass outside your window. Plus, during weekend nights, you can hear the music beat from some nearby dancing club. Not a very big issue though. Overall, a nice experience.

NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL OR EXPERIENCE! Staff doesn't seem to care about being friendly, smiling or showing appreciation, attention or hospitality. Check-out Receptionist was nice and smiling though. 🙏 Breakfast rather good, though, so is the location. I know it's very possible to find something much better with better service for the same money! Extremely dissappointing.
