Restored hotel, close to Bucharest's downtown, with reasonable prices. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Tasteful breakfasts, with vegetarian option. Interesting interior design theme centred around Monarchy, except one painting in the loby. Liberty Leading the People.
Friendly staff. Clean. Felt safe. Old building so lots of character but if you like modern, then this is not. Heating worked well in the room. Had a cooking hob, fridge and kitchen sink, so you could cook simple stuff in the room. Supermarket close by. TV with various English language channels. They don't take AMEX, surprise suprise, who does lol. All in all not bad. Nothing much that I could find nearby do I guess I wouldn't code this location for shopping but I had to work close by for a short time so it was okay. Hope this helps somone.
aggressive personnel at reception.Low trained to communicate; lake of discretion(the colleague from reception yelled at me)-maybe because was deaf..or just rude.
