Hotel Kras

I stayed here for 6 days while attending a scientific conference. It is a very nice hotel, centrally located, comfortable rooms and very good service from its employees. The complimentary breakfast is adequate, it stops a gap. I would stay here again.

The hotel is in the centre of Postojna and has a secure underground parking place. We had a double room with amazing panoramic view. The room was big and clean. Breakfast was ok. Also is very close to the Postojna Cave entrance, 15-20 minute walk from the hotel, but we recommend to go by car. Wi-fi not so good.

I was immediately put off by the fact that they were selling cakes past their expiration date. After I pointed it out, they removed the expired cake, which I appreciate. We took two cakes to go — pistachio and Oreo. Unfortunately, both were average at best, if not below average. The creams lacked distinct flavor, and the textures were nearly identical between the two, which made them quite forgettable. While the slices were large for €3.90, the taste and texture didn’t live up to the price. Only two flavors were available (three, if you count the expired one).
