ANEW Hotel Parktonian Johannesburg

A comfortable hotel with nice, recently redecorated rooms and public spaces. Breakfast and evening buffet is loaded with well prepared high-quality food items but they tend towards the ordinary rather than specialty side. Always a reliable and filling meal. A safe walking distance to Constitution Hill and the Nelson Mandela Bridge for an experienced urban explorer, but beyond those points, the neighborhood becomes risky. This is certainly the only upscale hotel in the local area and staying here will certainly be comfortable and safe. The previous hotel owner was a Marriott chain.

A good city find with a beautiful view. Rooms are huge comes with a lounge kitchenette and balcony. A really good find for value. Great staff and team.

This hotel should be downgraded, it certainly is not a 4 star rating. I booked for my niece and her friend. They had stuff stolen from their room on a few occasions, including ID documents and someone attempted to enter whilst they were inside. They were moved to a floor not in use, in fact they had 3 different rooms and were still targeted. There was so much noise outside, they couldn't sleep. With all these issues, the hotel refused to refund, they had a week left, already paid for and we had to book them into a different hotel! I suggest the management need to review their security systems and their refund policies for issues pertaining to them! I certainly would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
