I had a wonderful dining experience at this hotel restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious – full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish I tried was cooked to perfection. What truly made the experience memorable was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. They were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely warm. It’s rare to find such a combination of great food and exceptional service. Highly recommended – I’d definitely come back again!
Whenever my family and I went to the dining room, we have had exceptional service from Simanga Ndlovu. He has gone over and above to make sure that we enjoyed our dining experience and catered for our needs.
My partner and I booked into this hotel for 2 nights because our areas electricity was off, the hotel claims it's pet friendly and charges you extra for the pets, however, as I'm writing this there is music blasting from the roof top and causing my dogs distress, I'm trying my best here to muffle out the sound, but it's not helping. I tried calling reception three times and got no answer. Besides the above, we were first put in a room where the air con wasn't working, the bathroom door was broken and there was visible damage above the bathroom door. The facilities technician was very helpful and assisted in getting us a new room. He was great, otherwise rest of staff doesn't seem to exist. Don't advise anyone to bring their pets here and wouldn't advise anyone to stay here. Truly a one star experience that claims to be four stars. The food is very average and for the price, it's not worth it, go get mc donalds rather. Not answering reception calls from guests in their rooms is extremely dodgy, what if it were an emergency. So many bad things happened for such a short stay. I do not recommend, unless you are staying there for one night and you have gone early next day. Edit: I went for breakfast under the assumption it was included with the stay, the staff that was checking the list of guests for breakfast said I was on the list, but when i left I was told that my booking didnt include breakfast and I would have to R220. The money wasn't the issue, it was the fact that I wasn't told by her when she checked the list that there will be an additional cost.
