This is a gem of a Casa Rural (and we have stayed in many in Spain). Situated in the middle of a vineyard and surrounded by mountains it offers complete tranquility.The rooms are spacious, each uniquely decorated and very comfortable. The wine grown from grapes on the estate was absolutely delicious. Best of all, the host, fluent in five languages, provided us with a wealth of information about the area. His care for us went above and beyond, by transporting us to and from the town as we were on foot, walking the Camino.
A truly tranquil and peaceful finca in the heart of olive trees and vineyards. Jaime and Elena are remarkable hosts who greet you like old friends and are very attentive and considerate. Breakfast is basic but filling consisting of toast, cake and coffee/tea. Notification that you want an evening meal needs to be made at breakfast but is highly recommended. Elena is an excellent chef who produces superb Spanish cuisine and understands allergens and dietary requirements. Some of the dishes were some of the best things I have ever eaten and were accompanied by excellent local wines. Rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable and quiet. Birdlife is abundant around the estate with 37 species recorded within a short distance.
Everything is great, except for the breakfast, which is poor: bread and butter only!
