Hotel Miramar Barcelona GL Preferred Hotels & Resorts Newly Renovated

This is easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s an incredibly luxurious experience—with a spa and pool for relaxing, a nice lounge and bookshelf area for reading, an outdoor patio for a sip of coffee or wine, and, best of all, it’s connected to an expansive city botanic garden. The reception desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. If I could have spent the whole day here to relax, I would!

We had a very good stay at Hotel Miramar Barcelona. It’s a beautiful five-star hotel with great facilities. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had a beautiful view, which we really enjoyed. The restaurant food was amazing, the spa was relaxing, and the swimming pool was a great place to spend time. Everything overall made our stay enjoyable. There were a couple of things that could be improved. The sauna and jacuzzi were closed during our stay, even though the hotel website showed them as available. When I asked the guy at reception, he just said they were closed and claimed it was mentioned online, but I checked again and there was no information about that. He didn’t want to explain anything further, so I chose not to continue the conversation. On the other hand, there was a girl working there who was very kind, polite, and professional. She spoke really good English and always made sure everything was okay. Her attitude made a big difference and made us feel welcome. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and liked the hotel, but with clearer communication and some improvement in the service from a few staff members, it could be an even better experience.

This hotel is nice and the staff was consistently helpful and attentive. We loved our interactions with the front desk staff, who all spoke English. The area felt safe and it was laid back and quiet. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a few issues, such as the shower door not latching and not staying closed, which allowed water to splash out onto the floor of the room. The hotel is in a beautiful location on a hill overlooking the city. For cruisers, although the hotel is not far from the cruise port, it is not walkable to the cruise port. Cabs were easy to get from this location. The hop on hop off bus companies have a stop right outside the hotel grounds which makes for easy access into the city. Overall we loved the hotel.
