My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this family-run hotel. The daily breakfast (included in the price of the room) was so delicious, definitely get the cafe con leche, best latte I had during my vacation. The rooms were gorgeous and the owner was so helpful. Be prepared to practice your spanish 😊.
I stayed at Cal Barber for 4 nights the rooms are spacious comfortable and beautifully decorated, the bathrooms are also a great size with either showers or a jacuzzi bath. really comfortable large beds. It is family run hotel and everyone is so kind helpful and friendly that they make you feel as if you were home. The breakfast is exceptional with a variety of charcuterie, cheese, tortilla bread with tomato pastries and fresh fruit. We also dined in their in house restaurant, and the quality and presentation of the food was exceptional and in my opinion very well priced. it is located in a quiet small village near the mountains but only 15 minutes away from the beaches. it is a lovely place to come and relax and explore the local area. I would highly recommend it and will definitely come and stay again. They also have a lovely private spa for couples, which we did not use but will do next time.
