Ram De Mar

I was sceptical about our hotel after reading some reviews. I had already looked into it prior to booking so was surprised to see some negative reviews. It was absolutely fine. The rooms are basic but very clean. We stayed in the annex building overlooking the square it could be a bit noisy but quieter by about midnight. Breakfast was the usual continental with a good variety to choose from. Although we didn't use the pool area it looked very inviting. The location is great, about a minute walk to the harbour areas and about 10 minutes either way to a beautiful beach ⛱️

Off the beaten track ..friendly staff!! Blanca deserves a gold star ! This amazing woman helped us plan an affordable route to Palma so the children got a fun day trip .This would not have been possible with her local knowledge and contacts . She has great recommendations for a good experience in and around Cala Ratjada

German speaking area, so English isn't spoken greatly. Had an issue with our room as the lifts were positioned between floors of stairs. With a pram and a grandparent 3 flights of stairs and a lift wasn't ideal. After speaking to them we were able to get a room without stairs. 3 pools big one is cold a lot of the day but refreshing. There's a 0.5m paddle pool for kids and a medium size pool which was most popular with all ages. Drinks were reasonably priced same as food, which was ok. Rooms were very clean but no coffee making facilities included. Good location 30 seconds from 24hr spar and 2 minutes from playpark and marina with lots of restaurants. There is a land train 4 times a day to the local beaches and plenty of boat tours around the island. There was also a few markets which were great for gifts. Didn't rate breakfast but I'm not a fan of European Continental breakfasts unless their done like premier inn.(me being fussy) Overall close to amenities but Learn German or Spanish before you go and of you want a room change ask at 8am or wait another day!!!
