La Casona de Calderon

Lovely hotel with great service, although we noticed during our two week stay that they actually could use an extra pair of hands in the staff. There's always someone from the staff present 24h/day and we had clean sheets and towels every day. The room we had is situated at the ground floor, in the patio where you can enjoy breakfast and sit by the small pool, and has everything to make it comfortable for people in a wheelchair. We found out that noises easily travel into the room, when people start taking their breakfast or have a drink before going to their rooms at night. The hotel is also a (good) restaurant and a small museum that tells the origin of the building. Me and my partner had very pleasant stay here.

Strange place with an unique charm! Vintage room. Don't expect a suite when ordering an junior one. It is just a bigger room. Swimming pool is just refreshing with ants and chlore on the side. But overall I love that place. A bit overpriced for the junior suite but fun to stay!

THEY ARE NOT GASTRONOMICAL! when we asked, the receptionist said, the chef left and they didn't change the hotel's name. This is a scam and cheating. 1)The room's bathroom door couldn't close. 2)There was no soap to wash hands on the sink. 3)No window facing outside. 4)The swimming pool was quite dirty. 5)The shower drainage wasn't working properly and water was accumulating. They just did a photo trick. We paid 93€ one night and it was worse than a hostel quality. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. It's the first time I've seen such a hotel and workers who are so amateur about hotel business.
