Hotel Esmeralda Maris by LIVVO

Rooms were one of the best we had in spain. More than enough room and seeview that helped us rest. Kitchen very suitable to cook the meals. We needed to rest so we appreciated that the hotel (and island) was very calm. If you’re looking for resting, then this is a very good option as there are not many things around aside from the beach. So no loud concerts or anything of that sort. The breakfast, however, could have a little bit more options.

We had an amazing stay! The customer service was excellent, the whole hotel is really clean and the staff is friendly. We were a little bit disappointed to pay +200€ for a “sea view” which was not what they offered. We were offered another room with it, but it wasn’t suitable for families with small kids, so we decided to stay where we were, because we had a swing for the kids in front of our room (room 216). We still paid the 200€ extra for it and didn’t get any refund. Regarding wellness, there is a beautiful private spa to rent for 10€ per day (2 hours slot), it’s important to ask about the price, we didn’t get informed until we left the hotel and saw it in the bill.

We spent a week in this hotel (family 2+1), in room 525 - in the best row. Very nice layout of the apartment (58m2!), wonderful terrace with ocean view (the only thing missing was a third chair). The kitchen is well equipped, pots, pans are in very good condition, which is rare in hotels. There was even a sponge and a cloth waiting for us, plus water, wine and 2 bars (there should be 3 for 3 guests) - thank you! Very large bathroom with 2 windows, large bedroom with a comfortable bed and a spacious wardrobe. You can see that the apartment is not the newest, it could use some refreshing, but everything was clean. We only used the cleaning service once, because it was very early (around 8:30-9:00). Great location, out of the way, close to the beautiful beaches, Sotavente, Cofete, Morro Jable, Oasis Park. Of the minuses - the storage under the window in the living room smells of mold. Unfortunately, the air conditioning too (we turned it off immediately, fortunately it was not needed). The wifi doesn't work in the apartment (only on the internal terrace, which we hardly used). We asked for the wifi to be fixed, but to no avail. The entrance door could be more airtight, in a strong wind (last 2 days) the whole apartment would roar and sand would fly through the cracks. Finding a parking lot under the hotel wasn't that easy, but there is a large parking lot on a gravel lot (also crowded). To sum up - we recommend this place!
