Induruwa Beach Resort

This beach resort has its own private beach which was the USP of this hotel. Breakfast was awesome had a lot of variety of food. Many foreigners enjoyed their meals. The resort organised bon fires for everyone at night since it’s gets windy and cold during evening time. It’s quite humid place due to sea area. The rooms were nice but the staff service and cleanliness was not up to the mark. Needs improvement but overall experience was good.

Lovely beachside hotel with a fantastic view for the rooms. The beach is open to hotel residents and it's a great experience. A live band at dinner added to the wonderful experience. The food too is excellent. The swimming pool water doesn't seem to be too clear while swimming. The floor cleaner used leaves a sticky sensation while we walk. The bathroom shower cubicles leak when the shower is on and the drainage facility isn't too good then.

Vast area, beautiful view, spacious room & balcony, beach is just few steps away, breakfast buffet was decent with a good spread. In spite of all these I've given poor rating because the resort was deserted, & creepy. When we checked in, it felt as though there wasn't anyone besides us. Girls at the reception didn't know even little bit of English. We checked in around lunch time & we were told there's no lunch (not surprised, why would they cook for 1 guest). Later in the evening, we met few others who had the same feeling about this place (skeptical about whether it's safe to stay here). Fortunately we checked out safe the next morning. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Too bad travel agents book such places taking advantage of tourists unfamiliarity with new places.
