Hotel in a former stately home (chateau rather than castle). Probably primarily for groups, weddings etc., but the staff are friendly. My single room was a bit small and quirky (very nice bathroom as big as the rest of the room), but comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, there must be some lactose intolerance among the staff I guess as there was no milk product whatsoever... Never come across that before but it didn't kill me :). There is a nice view overlooking the water. Tram to downtown a few minutes walk away. Recommended.
The perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine with friends. In the summer, you can sit outside and soak in the wonderful atmosphere on the terrace. The staff is exceptionally courteous, and for the first time in Stockholm, I had a truly perfect Aperol Spritz. My new favourite place for aperitivo! Also, dogs are welcome here, so I was able to bring my big German Shepherd to enjoy the evening with us 🐾
Fantastic hotel - great location just outside the city centre and next to a tram stop. Room was immaculate and staff were brilliant
