Matterhorn Lodge Boutique Hotel & Apartements

In Zermatt this Hotel is the place to stay. We were staying at another hotel and switched to this hotel which is so clean and modern and it also has a spa. The rooms are spacious with a shower and stand alone tub. The views are awesome. But what really makes this hotel shine above other establishments is the staff. They are so welcoming and will take the time to talk with you and want to get to know you. We have enjoyed meeting and talking with them and they will try and accommodate any request. You can’t go wrong staying at this hotel and spa. We would definitely stay here again. This hotel and staff deserve a five-star rating! Andy

We had a fantastic week at the Matterhorn Lodge. The hotel's location, right in the middle of the village yet incredibly peaceful, is truly unique. Moreover, the modern chalet-style architecture is very inviting, making you feel at home immediately—of course, with a stunning view of the Matterhorn. The entire staff is highly competent, and the service is exceptionally attentive. Ruth, the hotel director, in particular, is an outstanding host who genuinely cares about the well-being of her guests. Personalized restaurant recommendations and reservations are naturally provided, ensuring an excellent dining experience every time. We will be back!

My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary in Zermatt, and spent 3 nights in an apartment at the Matterhorn Lodge. It was a WONDERFUL experience. Tim was especially helpful in answering our questions and giving us useful suggestions for food and activities. The spa was very comfortable and enjoyable, and the central location was perfect for us! Our easy access to mountain activities, the adaptability of the staff to our questions or requests, and the beautiful, comfortable lodgings were all high points of our time in Zermatt. Thank you!
