Don't expect much from the reception they don't answer any request. The rooms are ok but the bathrooms are dirty. The hotel has the potential of 4 stars but is definitely over rated. Not worth the price. The fire alarm went off and they left it for about 20mins with no body showing up or answering the phone to inform. Guests safety is their least priority. Only consider for a couple of days stay. If staying more look for somewhere else.
Unacceptable service for the price — the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. This hotel is definitely not cheap, but the level of service and maintenance was shockingly poor. When we arrived, there was no warm welcome, no drink, no greeting — just a key handed to us with a quick “breakfast is from 6 to 10 AM.” That was it. Once inside the room, things only got worse: • There was no phone, so we couldn’t call reception or even order anything — we had to physically go downstairs for every request. • The plug didn’t work, so we couldn’t charge our phones. • The hairdryer stopped working after 10 seconds and never turned on again. • The safe was broken. • And the key cards constantly failed — every time we left the room, we had to go back to reception to reset them, sometimes multiple times a day. We asked to change the room, since nothing was functioning properly. But instead of resolving it the easy way by simply moving us to a working room, they kept saying things like, “We can bring a phone,” or “We’ll send someone to fix the plug.” They insisted on “fixing” the issues instead of actually solving the bigger problem: the room itself was not livable. And guess what? No one came. No one fixed anything. No one followed up or checked in on us. Nothing. We were left stuck in a broken room with no support, no communication, and terrible service. Even if we wanted to order food or contact reception, we had to go down in person because they never gave us a phone. The only positive part of our stay was the kind man who helped with our luggage and explained the hotel facilities to us. He was the only one who showed professionalism and respect. But as for the rest — this hotel is a complete disappointment. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, and this was by far the worst. For what they charge, this kind of service is absolutely unacceptable. I would never stay here again, and I highly recommend avoiding it.
I usually don’t write reviews, but our experience at Noor Congressional Resort was frustrating enough to deserve one — especially if it helps others manage their expectations. Let’s start at the reception. After a long trip, we arrived expecting a warm welcome. Everyone else seemed to receive welcome drinks… except us. Not that I was dying for juice, but it’s a matter of consistency and basic hospitality. If you offer something, offer it to everyone. Selective courtesy is not a good look. Once we got to the room, things quickly went downhill. The safe didn’t work, so we had nowhere secure to keep our documents and valuables. The balcony lights? Out. The plug next to the bed? Also dead — so charging my phone required awkwardly sitting across the room. Not ideal when you’re trying to unwind. Oh, and the hairdryer? It worked… for a glorious 10 seconds before giving up entirely. The cherry on top? There was no phone in the room, which meant we couldn’t even call reception to request help or room service — because, again, no phone! Now let’s talk about the staff. The general atmosphere was… indifferent at best. Almost no one smiled or made eye contact — with the sole exception of the kind gentleman who carried our luggage (bless him). He was the only one who explained anything about the room or hotel. The next day, we asked to switch rooms because of all the issues. The staff said they would send someone to fix the phone and other things — which they did, while we were sleeping. We politely asked them to come back later. They never did. There was no follow-up, even though we saw staff at the reception multiple times afterward. No one bothered to ask if things had been resolved or if they could help. It felt like once you checked in, you were on your own. And finally — the room key. Oh, the joy of having to go to reception every single time because it kept deactivating. Once, I had to go back twice in the same hour just to get a working key. Overall, this was not the relaxing, professional experience you’d expect from a so-called “resort.” The hotel has potential, sure — but it’s being wasted on poor service, maintenance issues, and a lack of attention to guest experience. Would I return? Not unless something seriously changes.
