Side Sunset Hotel

No cleaning is done. Ive asked many times, I was told they do cleaning once every 2 days, but if i want i have to inform the reception for daily cleaning in which I did over 10 times but still wasnt done. Asked for the shower doors to be cleaned as it was all left with stains, never got done. Bed sheets are never clean. Doesnt get washed properly, always has stains. If you dont ask for toilet paper or towel, housekeeping never provides you with new ones daily. Electricity problems - air conditioner stopped working once a day. Staff at the reception can be rude. Especially there was one lady who had tried to raise her voice at me for asking because i was asking for the rooms to be cleaned 3 days in a row and it was not getting done. Later on found out that she was the wife of the hotel manager (probably thinks she can act however she wants just because her husband is the hotel manager) Pool water was green for a whole week, took them a few days to fix the issue and get it to be blue. My friends eye ended up getting infected, i got stomach infection - not a single person from the management even dared to ask if we were ok. Only staff i must give credit to and thank are the staff at the pool bar - Ozgur, Zehra, Ceren & Hasret. Always smiling, always polite, the only ones that asked if we were ok after getting ill and tried to take care of us. Absolute beautiful people.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about this hotel. From the moment I arrived, it was a disaster. The check-in process was slow, disorganised, and the staff were completely unhelpful—not just then, but also when I raised serious concerns about the state of my room. They clearly had no interest in resolving anything and seemed bothered that I even brought it up. The facilities were nothing short of disgusting. The bedroom was filthy, with cracked light fixtures and a generally grimy feel. The bathroom was even worse—tiles were missing, everything looked neglected, and to top it off, there was no hot water in the shower. Not just lukewarm—cold. For a hotel that claims to offer any level of comfort, this was shocking. Before I arrived, I contacted the hotel to explain that I’d be landing late and asked whether it would be possible to purchase or be provided with a meal or a drink upon arrival. They assured me this would be arranged—but, unsurprisingly, nothing was available when I got there. No food, no drink, not even an apology. When it came to food the following day, the choices were absolutely abysmal. There wasn’t even a toaster, and the so-called “fresh” options were limited to questionably warm meats and cheeses. There were no fresh or hot protein options to speak of. It felt like they were cutting every corner possible while still charging full price. All in all, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. Between the filth, the non-existent customer service, and the subpar food, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere—anywhere would be better than here.

There are no words enough to rate this hotel, it was a dump, although the employees are quite okay, even though they don't get anything done. I do not recommend it to anyone, you will ruin your vacation by coming here. They dared to charge for the air conditioning, even though it doesn't work, and they don't clean the room. I rarely leave a review myself, but this one had to be reviewed because we lost 4 valuable days of our vacation, they kept saying every day that they would fix the problems even though we went to the front desk about 8-9 times to complain about the air conditioning."
