My stay at Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Yamm Villa Resort was truly unforgettable. The resort offers a stunning location, peaceful surroundings, and top-tier service. I would like to give special thanks to Hassan at the reception for his warm smile, exceptional hospitality, and prompt attention to every detail, making us feel completely at home. Also, a huge thank you to Khaled, our safari tour guide, for his deep knowledge of the island’s wildlife, his cheerful personality, and his effort to make the experience both educational and memorable. In short, I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a unique and luxurious getaway, and I can’t wait to return.

Our stay at Anantara Sir Baniyas Island Resort had its highs and lows. To start with the positives, the reception team, customer service, and overall hospitality were Excellent. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, which made us feel very welcome. However, there were several disappointments that affected the overall experience. The ferry boat transportation to the island was in very poor condition — the vessel was old and not up to the standards expected from a luxury resort. Additionally, we were transported alongside laborers, which made the journey feel uncomfortable and far from premium. This really set a negative tone before even reaching the island. At the resort, the breakfast buffet lacked variety, which was surprising given the brand’s reputation. There were very limited options, and it didn’t reflect the level of culinary experience you’d expect. As for dining, the African restaurant on the island was particularly disappointing.The food quality and overall dining experience were subpar. I would strongly not recommend it. While the location and natural beauty of the island are impressive, these operational and dining issues definitely took away from what could have been a truly memorable experience.

From the moment we arrived, our experience at this hotel was terrible. One of our bags – which was expensive and important to us – was damaged by the staff during check-in. No one apologized When we entered our villa, we were shocked by how dirty and poorly maintained it was. The cleanliness was unacceptable, and it felt like no proper housekeeping had been done. The overall service was extremely bad throughout our stay. The manager, Michelle, was completely unprofessional and did not know how to handle any of our concerns. Her attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. The food was also a huge disappointment – nothing tasted good, and none of the restaurants or room service options met even basic expectations. There was nothing enjoyable about the dining experience. Overall, I strongly do not recommend this hotel. It was a waste of money and time, and I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay here.
