Shireburn Arms Hotel

Just returned from a great overnighter at this place and we are very impressed. It’s in nice location, and easy to go for a walk if the weather is nice, which luckily it was for us. The food was excellent, and the friendly and personal service we received from Chris did the place credit. The rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard, and clearly no expense has been spared, with the notable exception however of the shower. Breakfast was excellent, quality local ingredients cooked fresh to order, so bear this in mind if you’re in a hurry. If not just sit back and chill. We will definitely return 👍

Our 2nd visit here after an amazing family wedding we said we would come back and visit surrounding areas nearby.We did the Tolkien trail walk on our first day 6.5 miles in the sunshine must admit glad to see the Shireburn arm's after 3.5 hour's later 😂 the Bowland brewery pint of beer was heavenly. Visited Whalley Abbey and Clitheroe the following day. Absolutely amazing short stay . Shireburn arm's is an absolutely great place to visit the staff are all amazing especially Emelia on reception what a gem. Jack and Peter and other staff whom I've forgotten their names were truly awesome The food is 5 ⭐ and breakfast scrumptious.

rudest staff members! we asked if there was a table for 4 people, all the tables were reserved, however had NO timings on them and the entire room was empty, apart from 4 members of staff lingering behind the bar. we weren't greeted when we walked through the door, but instead abruptly told 'NO, FULLY BOOKED'. It literally costs nothing and takes ZERO energy to be polite & show a little empathy to customers walking in. I hope the establishment read this review and ensure their staff members get some customer service training.
