First time visitors, came for a family meal with siblings that live overseas so we hadn't seen each other together for 8 years. Staff were very polite and helpful. Building is lovely and clean and well maintained. Food was excellent across the table. I had the seafood board which was a very hearty portion of quality produce. Definitely worth a visit. We will be back
3rd visit after visiting twice last Sept when staying in the area. Very dog friendly with a good menu & ale. Both had the Sunday Roast which was great, just needed a bit more gravy, which I'm sure we could have had if we'd asked asked staff are very friendly and helpful. Recommend you book ahead.
Perfect for a long weekend stay with great staff and great food, plenty of local beers on as well. Rooms are located in the buildings attached to the pub (a few steps away from the front door). Plenty of parking around the back with some rooms having directed access. A great stay overall will be coming again.
