What a wonderful place to end our time in Scotland. From the moment we made our reservation until the time we left, the team was extremely communicative, helpful, friendly, and talented. We booked a family cottage, and it had tremendous space for all three of us. We took advantage of the well-stocked kitchen to cook several meals and it had everything we needed. We also appreciated the washer and dryer to do some laundry. The food was also a highlight - we arrived late at night, so the reception asked us in advance what food we’d like to order and it showed up within 5 minutes of our arrival, tasting fresh and delicious. I also had an enjoyable conversation with the manager and the bartender at the bar about their Scottish whisky selection and sampled several. Lastly, there is no shortage of things to do - we took the complimentary e-bikes out for a ride, visited with the Highland cows on the property, and enjoyed walking around the grounds. I would highly recommend Newhall Mains to anyone visiting the Inverness area
If you want to escape the city and go to a relaxed beautiful getaway in the countryside than Newhall Mains is the place for you. We loved it here. The grounds, the service, the food were all amazing. We stayed in the red cottage and it was so homey and comfortable. We would love to return again one day .
I went to Newhall Mains recently, and it was fantastic. The cottages are beautiful and welcoming, with cozy interiors and gorgeous details. The restaurant had wonderful cuisine with my favorite being the Sunday roast! and the whisky bar was a treat. There is also an outdoor sauna and even a private air strip. We used the e bikes and DEFINITELY recommend power mode making it a truly special highland getaway!
