The Megaro Hotel Kings Cross St Pancras London

Stayed there twice this year based on location. I really enjoyed the Megaro. I have stayed at the Standard multiple times over the years before and I'd say the Megaro can be a great option as rates can be much lower. Is is a very boutique hotel with an edgy and specific design to each room. I stayed in a large studio room and then in a smaller rooms and both were very well appointed. They have personality and it might be to the taste of everyone. This is not your genetic chain hotel. All items for consumption are fee in the room, great shower with high pressure (not common in London). In spite of its location on Euston Road, it is quiet because rooms are well insulated but there is a major construction site right accross the street so at the moment and for several months expect noise from 8am to 5pm or so. Oh the new restaurant Voyage inside the hotel is quite fantastic. Easily one of the best values for fine food in London with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The coclktail bar in the basement is also nice and original. What is the hotel missing: a gym in my opinion and a larger lobby and lounge / wait / work area.

The location is superb—just across from King's Cross St Pancras station, which made everything so convenient. The room was stylish and spotless, with thoughtful design details. The bed was very comfortable, the toiletries were excellent, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. Truly a 5-star experience.

Location wise, can’t get any better than this, right opposite St Pancras and Kings Cross stations. Lovely staff, very helpful. Excellent facilities, eateries, bars. All the essentials for a good stay. Room clean and comfortable. Eclectic interior makes this a memorable stay. Lots of building works on adjacent buildings in progress at the time of my stay, so bear that in mind. No impact on the amenity though. I’ll stay there again.
