The Pelham London Starhotels Collezione

This was our second time at the hotel and it did not disappoint. Everyone from the bell staff, concierge and front desk as well as the restaurant were fabulous. Even went so far as to get us a bottle of wine one evening after hours and then Ondrey at dinner service was amazing with recommendations and the food was superb. Later that evening Ondrey again came through for us when the restaurant had already closed for service he was able to craft us some cocktails to take to our room. The service at the hotel is the best and we cannot wait to return!!!

Our room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on. Service and location excellent.

I do not know who rated this hotel as 5-star, but what we experienced was hardly 3-star. We had to carry our luggage up the front stairs, since their only bellboy was on break. We were three adults and got a super tiny room at the end of a narrow hallway that creaked under our feet. We could not walk around in the room without hitting our legs or toes to furniture. We could only stand that room for one night and the second day, we asked for an upgrade which they did it immediately. However, this room was smelly as the first one but it was bigger. Everything looked worn and dilapidated, specially the carpet. This hotel may seem ok for solo travelers who does not seek comfort and luxury, but I will not return nor recommend it to anyone else. The staff were polite and friendly.
