Lovely for a weekend getaway — peaceful, calming and very relaxing. They have a very small gym but does the job, the restaurant is pretty good too, especially the breakfast selection. The rooms are beautiful and the estate is well looked after.

Stayed here ahead of a visit to the Fat Duck and it was a real treat. Beautiful and spacious layout of the hotel and grounds, with the banks of the Thames on both sides. The bistro, lounge and bar and patio area overlooking the river worked wonderfully well in the summer sunshine. The rooms were a little small, but very well appointed and comfortable. Overall a real treat.

We had booked our Anniversary. Most hotels we go to at this high standard they have very professional staff and i very helpfull. Also they would show you to your room and also take you bags. Lucky we are Young and have good eye site. The room was nice but small. Very soft beds which i dont like. Taps were wobbly in the bathroom. Looking forward to breakfast only a few customers in for breakfast on this day. The hotel only had 1 staff member at front of House. I had some Orange Juice and tea which was great. We had paid the extra for breakfast but we only wanted Poached eggs and beans on Toast which took a long time.When the breakfast came the eggs were hard and no toast! The lady said we had to do the toast. (I hoped she had told me this before the eggs and beans had arranged. Now i have cold beans and hard eggs! This was not a great start to the morning.This put us off having Lunch or dinner here.
