Hermann Hill

What a charming boutique inn! The prime location looking down on the town of Hermann, including a view of the Missouri River, offers an incredible vista. The vineyard on the hillside below the building made us feel like we were visiting an Italian villa. The service was great. And the amenities! Gratis snacks and drinks, including complimentary wine and cheese/bread upon check in. Oh, and they brought ice cream and cookies each night to our room. This place pays attention to detail on so many levels. We booked another visit for the following year before we left.

We had an amazing get away at your inn! The views were breathtaking, quality service and amenities above and beyond.From the arrival cheese board, ice cream and cookies and delicious breakfast all brought to the room. The suite was perfect. We highly recommend Hermann Hill to anyone looking to relax and be pampered. We definitely will be back! This was one of our favorite vacations. All the staff was welcoming and attentive.

We recently spent a night at Hermann Hill, and it was nothing short of spectacular. We originally booked just one night, but since we were traveling with our dog, we had to opt for the dog-friendly condo (note: the condos are the only dog-friendly option here). While it’s a bit pricier than a standard room, it’s absolutely worth the upgrade. The condo came with a full suite setup: an extra room, a full kitchen, gorgeous bathroom, and high-end touches everywhere. The bathroom was the kind of luxury you’d expect from a five-star resort—a full-body rain shower with a digital-controlled thermometer, and yes, even a heated towel drying rack! Every detail was thought out and executed flawlessly. The town of Hermann itself is small—about 2,000 people—but packed with charm. There aren’t too many dining options, but the few places we tried were excellent, and the locals were warm and welcoming. It’s a peaceful, historic town with beautiful views (especially from the hilltop where Hermann Hill is located). One bonus we didn’t expect: they have multiple EV charging stations, including adapters for Teslas and other electric vehicles. Super convenient for road trippers! Yes, this place is on the pricier side, but if you’re looking to treat yourself, especially for a romantic getaway or a relaxing solo escape, Hermann Hill is worth every penny. We’ll absolutely be back!
