Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort Spa and Casino

We come here often. The location might just be the best place in the world come July/ August. Our check in was easy. Danielle helped us check in process as we extended our stay which is separate from front desk . The front desk people were also very nice. The main beach for Hyatt is closed however we were able to get passes to the beach down the street from Hyatt. The shuttle will take you there. I remember coming here years ago when parking was free or there was no gates. Today valet is 50 and self is 30. It should be half that but I guess because we’re surrounded by 10million dollar homes ( what’s 50 right) The rooms are basic and not exactly updated- but the TVs are big. The sliding door to go outside balcony can use some cleaning/ dusting. But the furniture on patio looks brand new. The grass needs some love. The pool here is great! Always heated. You can do snores but the fire closes at 10:00 and I only know of that one fire pit. Across the street or next door in same parking lot is Hyatt vacations club. You can walk where they have rolling waterfalls and rivers w/ bridges. You want to go here around 10pm and just look up!! See photo of mine attached. They have a buffet to choose or u can opted to order. For breakfast. The patio outdoor seating is nice with tiki torches :) They have a small casino and sports$ if your into that. Live music on certain days / nights in restaurant and or casino floor.

Our recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe was an absolute delight, blending the rustic charm of a mountain lodge with the luxury and convenience you expect from a top-tier resort. From the moment we stepped into the grand, lodge-style lobby, with its massive fireplace and comfortable seating, we knew we were in for a special experience. The location is truly unbeatable. The resort is surrounded by stunning forests and is just a short walk from its own private beach. This prime spot allows for a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. The accommodations were both spacious and comfortable, with beautiful alpine-inspired decor. While the resort has a lot to offer, it's the beautiful setting and the feeling of being truly "away from it all" that makes it so memorable. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo retreat, the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe provides a perfect backdrop for creating lasting memories. It's a place I would happily return to again and again.

This was our first time visiting lake Tahoe. This resort was more than my husband and I imagined. You are greeted with complimentary champagne or another drink of your choice. Kevin was amazingly helpful and welcoming and we were always able to go to him for any questions. It was a busy time with four weddings and everyone was working hard. We also took advantage of the free archery lessons (typically a charge at other resorts). Lauren was an amazing instructor and we had so much fun. The heated pool is amazing and the complimentary s'mores night is fun. A couple of things to note. At the time of writing this review, the private beach wasn't accessible. However they provide plenty of other accommodations to make up for this. They have two beaches available. One that is a 5 min walk and is closed to the public so it's basically a private beach. This beach also has a bar and a food bar where you can purchase drinks and food. They provide a shuttle for the second beach. We will definitely be coming back again and hope to see Kevin there to continue to provide us with an amazing experience.
