Chateau Orleans

Not too far off Bourbon street in the French Quater. Its a great hotel at a great price. The staff was so kind and helpful. The hotel is historic a beautiful. The rooms are a little dated and the amenities not as comfortable but let's be honest you're not staying in the French Quarter for sleep. Overall Im very pleased to have stayed there and would stay there again.

Loved our room. Clean and large. Bed was super comfy. Close to all the action. Staff was great. Only downside is you can hear literally everything, so for a light sleeper like me was difficult. But kind of expected in an old building. Also only a handful of channels worked on the TV. Everything else was great. Would definitely stay here again if we could get the same room.

Hotel is beautiful and in a great and convenient location. However, I was blindsided when told upon arrival that it would be a $50 charge for parking. I expected to pay for parking but $50... However, I was exhausted from traveling and ready to unload. Once we got to bed around midnight I noticed the room was not cooling very well. By 230am I was sweating. I tried calling the front desk for 30 minutes but no answer. I got in touch with someone around 3 am but was too tired to wait for someone from maintenance. I turned the AC unit to fan only as suggested by the front desk and that helped a little but still not comfortable. Around 4 am we were able to get some sleep only to be awakened by housekeeping knocking at 9 am... Check out is not until noon!! The place is nice and maybe our room was just a stroke of bad luck. IDK
